Conversation part 2
Evaluation-
Personally I feel that this shoot was a lot better than my last one as I feel using the rule of thirds in this one makes it look professional. Also I think the flow of the video looks a lot better than the last one. Instead of breaking the fourth wall again I tried to do something different which was a match on action which I think was successfully executed. I also this time shoot each angle for longer than I would need in the actual video so that I know I had the best shots I possibly could.
How to improve my video
How to improve my video-
I think that I could improve my video by using shots that flow better and do not look jumpy, as this made the video look unprofessional. I also think that my video would flow better if I shot the same thing more than once to make sure that I have the best lighting, sound and flow of dialogue I need to make it look better. Also I had noticed that the array of different shot types I used was not very big so I will expand on the shot types I will use. It would also improve my video if I was a bit more experimental with it, because I would like it to be able to entertain my audience and I feel at the moment I am not achieving this. The over the shoulder shot is an important shot to show when having a conversation scene as it lets the audience see the characters point of view so to improve on my over the shoulder shots I will not only use them to show when the person is speaking but also the other persons face who is not speaking to give a fresh outlook on the scene. Looking back on my video I regret using the zoom as it was not steady enough to make it look good so when I re-do the video I am not going to use this technique again.
Shots I am going to use-
Long shot
Medium shot
Close-up
Medium close up
Over the shoulder shot
Breaking the fourth wall

Conversation Video
Evaluation-
I feel that looking at what I have done that it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped as I found it looks a bit choppy between shots so I have made it my task for next lesson to smooth each of the scenes together better so that it looks a lot better quality. Also I would prefer it if the sound was a lot clearer as its really muffled in this video.
Conversation shots
Evaluation-
I found that shooting a conversation felt easier at first however when I then had to come back to edit it I found that I had forgot to shoot in different shot types which is really not good as it would make my video look boring. Making a story board of what I am going to shoot makes the whole process a lot easier and helps me in the long run. When I do this next time I will make sure that I will use different shot types.

lost, scared and late for class
Evaluation-
Today I think that I have improved on some of the techniques I have used since learning how to shoot videos however I also think that I have a lot more I can improve on to make my work better, for example I was not happy with the continuity throughout, I also think that the link between each shoot could have been done a little bit better. However I have had a lot of fun making the video today and I do think I have improved in some aspects.
Shot Types
Evaluation-
After having gone out and shot my first video showing the different types of contrast I feel that, personally, it had gone really well. I feel that the shooting, editing and overall outcome of the finished product turned out very well. I like that I was able to make a rough storyline while shooting as this to me made the whole thing more interesting, it also meant that during the editing stage I would have to lay the order of scenes out so they make sense.
Even though I am very happy with my video because it was the first time i had done something like this it obviously was not perfect, I think that I could have improved on sound of the actual audio as in some parts it spends a little muffled, when I next shoot I will take this into consideration to make my video better.
